The Edition is a compilation list of chess tournaments. New tournaments included in this edition are Malaysian Chess Championship, Baku Chess Festival, Big Rook Chess Festival, 4th Sunway Chess Championship, Aspiration Chess Championship, and 3rd 3Damansara Chess Tournament. Here is the late 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. For this Mid-Edition, the new tournaments mainly compose of local events, for more major international events, you may visit the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, which contains events like 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍+ 𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐣𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐀𝐛𝐮 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬, etc.
For this weekend, the 25th & 26th of March, locally we have the 𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐓'𝐬 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 on 25th March, and 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on 26th March.
New tournaments included in this edition are 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (May- Perak), 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 (May-Azerbaijan), 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 (May-Bangkok), 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (June), 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (July-PJ), and 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝟑𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (July-PJ).
For workshops, on the 1st of April, join a 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥 𝐛𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐞𝐰! Happening at a cafe in PJ, and it’s limited to 30 participants! For seminars, there is the 𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 that will take place in April in Singapore. And in chess news, the recent sad news is the 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐂𝐅 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 - 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐮 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡. We would like to extend our sincerest and deepest condolences to his family & friends of him. Other news includes the line-up for the 𝐌𝐂𝐅 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝟐𝟑/𝟐𝟒 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦.
