The 1st Pearl Point Shopping Mall Chess Championship will be held on 29th & 30th July. The tournament has an impressive total cash prize of RM10,000!! It's a 2-day rapid event with the 1st day being the age-group rapid event for U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, and U16 categories where the champion for each age group will win RM300!! The 2nd day is the FIDE-rated Open category event where the champion will win an impressive RM2000!!! 2nd place wins RM1000, and 3rd place wins RM800!! The main prizes are for the top 10, with many more category prizes, & hampers to be won!

Category prizes in the Open section include Best Woman, Best Veteran, Best IPT, Best OKU, Youngest & Oldest Participant. It's also a special note to the OKU friends that there is a 50% discount for them, which will be refunded once all rounds are completed, making it technically free entry for our PARA athletes to participate, as our neighborhood friendly mall - Pearl Point Shopping Mall, would like to bring everyone together to enjoy & foster good friendships.
